MONDAYS, START OF A NEW WEEK AND A NEW SEARCH.

When Monday comes around most people start what you can say is the “usual routine.” This routine actually starts on Sunday night for most people actually. They start to get ready for the beginning of the new work week and prepare for the week ahead.

Monday’s too many people can be considered a drag. For many of us do not want to go into work after two days off from what might have been a relaxing weekend. Mondays for people who are not working is the start of a new job search.

We start to call our temporary recruiters and see if they might have anything for us work wise or even to see if they might have an interview scheduled for us. And after doing research on the weekend on certain companies, we might apply to them online that we think might be of interest in maybe giving us an interview or even hiring a person such as ourselves.

Usually Mondays for the regular working person is the start of whatever job assignment that they are required to do. Or maybe to even continue an assignment from the previous week, when you are unemployed there is only one assignment and that is to look for new employment once again.

Many of us hate going into work on Mondays for in some cases there could be major drama or office politics that one does not want to get involved with. The only drama that one has when not working is to find work. And of course try to pay the bills then again even when we are working we are trying to pay off our bills, it’s one of the few things that the employed and unemployed have in common.

Actually… there are more things in common other than what was just mentioned. At work one may follow new client leads, for the unemployed its new job leads. Also at work one may look for ways to cut cost and save money. For the unemployed we are often looking to save and stretch our money.

If you look at them (the employed and unemployed) are at two opposite ends of the spectrum. But yet share a similar balance. Mondays and the rest of the work week maybe different to people who are employed and unemployed but the overall task is the same. And that is to get the job done. The job that is assigned to one that is working and the one that needs to be done when not working at the moment.
